Job Overview

Job Description

  1. Manage client’s digital media platforms using a social media dashboard, to pick up feedback received via posts, comments, mentions and direct messages. Platforms include, but are not limited to the Corporate Website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Telegram, and WhatsApp
  2. Monitor the performance of client’s digital media platforms daily and produce monthly analysis report with the use of data analytics
  3. Publish and disseminate scheduled content and updates such as media statements, videos, info graphics, photographs, HTML5 banners
  4. Work with Deputy Director/Policy to troubleshoot IT issues on the digital media platforms with the website developers and IT support team
  5. Ensure that the “look and feel” of client’s digital media platforms adhere to the Corporate Identity and are in line with the “Whole of Government” guidelines
  6. Conduct regular review of social media guidelines for the Overseas Missions (OM) and conduct regular monitoring to ensure these pages adhere to client HQ’s social media guidelines
  7. Monthly updating of list of client OMs’ social media pages and metrics
  8. Identify trending issues of interest to audiences, as well as propose and implement strategies to generate traffic to client’s digital media platforms
  9. Maintain records of working drafts and archives of digital assets produced and published
  10. Other duties as assigned by the Director

Job Requirements

  1. Qualification(s) in Online Marketing, Web Design, or a related field
  2. At least three years of experience in digital media management
  3. Basic understanding of web design and common web languages (e.g. HTML5, JavaScript, Python), as well as basic proficiency in using the Adobe suite of applications (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) will be required. An understanding of the social media dashboard (e.g. Hootsuite) and Sitecore Content Management System would be an advantage
  4. Experience in using digital media analytics tools (Facebook Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.) to prepare and present reports on key performance indicators
  5. Committed and independent worker and a good team-player
  6. Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, including after office hours, when necessary
  7. Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
