Job Description- Key Tasks
Prepare, cook and present food as per restaurant standards
Ensure kitchen stock is rotated and controlled
Order, check in delivered stock and ensure its safe storage
Ensure the kitchen cleaning schedule is adhered to
Maintain a detailed knowledge of the menu and specials and be able to explain dish descriptions to front of house/ customers
Ensure compliance to food safety and hygiene requirements
Follow restaurant policies and procedures
Adhoc duties as requested
Job Requirements
Experience in cooking Chinese food
Professional culinary qualifications preferred
Basic Food Hygiene course
Hardworking, team player, shows initiative
